BMSCE IEEE PES & SC-The Energy Arena
On account of PES Day 2025, BMSCE IEEE PES & Sensors Council in
collaboration with BMSCE IEEE ComSoc hosted the Energy Arena. This event focused
on fostering awareness and skills about sustainable energy solutions among students
and professionals with fun rounds in the event. This unique event featured two engaging
rounds designed to stimulate creativity and problem-solving among participants.
• Round 1: Meme Creation – Teams showcased their creativity by crafting memes
centered on the theme of Green Energy and Smart Grid Solutions.
• Round 2: Ideation – Participants tackled two fictional scenarios, selecting one
to present innovative solutions aimed at improving the situation. Teams
developed concise presentations to effectively communicate their ideas.
This event encouraged participants to think critically and creatively about pressing
energy challenges while fostering collaboration and fun.
[Impact made:] Participants gained valuable insights into renewable energy systems,
learned practical approaches to sustainability, and expanded their professional
network. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with many attendees requesting
future workshops on similar topics.
