OU Analytics Online Session
IEEE OU Analytics: Building Data-Driven Leadership
As part of IEEE Education Week, the IEEE OU Analytics session was launched to empower officers of the IEEE ENET’COM Student Branch with essential knowledge about IEEE’s internal data tools and organizational structure. This initiative focused on leadership development and aimed to strengthen the chapter’s operational efficiency and strategic planning capabilities. The session, held by M. Khalil Guettat, former Chair of IEEE ENET’COM SB, introduced participants to the IEEE OU Analytics platform—an official IEEE tool that provides access to valuable organizational insights such as membership trends, geographic distributions, volunteer history, and more. With expert guidance, officers explored how to navigate the platform and utilize key data to support planning, reporting, and collaboration efforts. The session helped participants understand the structure of IEEE societies, subscriptions, and volunteer networks, all while encouraging a data-driven approach to chapter growth and decision-making. The session had a strong impact by promoting informed leadership and increasing awareness of IEEE’s global ecosystem. It reinforced the importance of using official platforms for effective chapter management and highlighted the critical role of data in enhancing student leadership within IEEE. |
