As part of the IEEE Education Week, IEEE ENET’COM Student Branch in collaboration with WIE ENET’COM Affinity Group organized a dedicated workshop tailored for professors and senior professionals, with the objective of promoting lifelong learning and encouraging the integration of emerging technologies in education, particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI).

The workshop aimed to introduce the fundamental concepts of AI and its practical applications, while showcasing tools that are valuable for both teaching and research. It also provided an overview of the IEEE mission and structure, highlighting the various opportunities for professionals to get involved in the community, including memberships, technical societies, and access to exclusive educational content..

Through this initiative, IEEE ENET’COM SB and WIE ENET’COM sought to engage experienced educators and demonstrate the value of IEEE as a lifelong learning platform that connects academic and industry leaders globally. The session fostered rich discussions, encouraged networking, and paved the way for future collaborations between educators and the IEEE ecosystem.
