Drawing from over two decades of professional experience in power systems, renewable energy, and technical leadership development, Engr. Ibrahim will share practical pathways for students and young professionals to grow through IEEE engagement, industry collaboration, and global networking. The session will also offer strategic guidance on how to leverage IEEE PES resources to build a competitive edge in today’s dynamic energy landscape.

Engr. Ibrahim AlMohaisin
Electrical Engineering Consultant | Vice Chair, IEEE PES – Western Saudi Arabia | Technical Leadership Developer
Engr. Ibrahim AlMohaisin is a certified Electrical Engineering Consultant with the Saudi Council of Engineers, bringing over 22 years of experience in power distribution systems, renewable energy integration, and electric vehicle infrastructure. He currently serves as the Vice Chair of IEEE Power & Energy Society – Western Saudi Arabia, where he leads initiatives to empower engineering students and professionals through technical events, mentorship, and global engagement.
His career spans across strategic roles in technical capability development, training program design, and quality improvement within the energy sector. Engr. Ibrahim is also actively involved in scientific research committees and academic advisory boards, fostering the next generation of engineering leaders.
Passionate about bridging the gap between academia and industry, he contributes to professional forums, innovation challenges, and capacity-building programs that promote sustainable energy and engineering excellence in the Kingdom and beyond.
