Biography:
Martin Lim serves as a National Application Engineer at Rohde & Schwarz, where he possesses 22 years of extensive experience in semiconductors, wireless technology, and radio frequency (RF) testing. His current focus is on physical-layer testing within the millimeter-wave (mmWave) spectrum. His previous projects include the development of mmWave test systems, envelope tracking, testing of power amplifiers (FEMiD), as well as work on 802.11ac multiple input multiple output (MIMO) technologies, and enhancements in test automation speed and radiated performance. Prior to his tenure at Rohde & Schwarz, Mr. Lim held the position of RF Characterization Manager at Nokia Mobile Phones, where he was responsible for the development of test systems for cellular transmission and reception, global positioning system (GPS), and 802.11 wireless standards. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, Pomona.
