The IEEE SVCE Student Branch proudly hosted its Inaugural Ceremony 2025, led by Nikitha, Chair of the IEEE Communication Society. The event began on a traditional note with the lighting of the lamp by our respected dignitaries — Dr. N. Sudhakar Reddy, Dr. A. Tharakeshwar, Dr. O. Eshwar Reddy, and Dr. G. Prem Kumar. This was followed by a soulful prayer song performed by Rajeshwari and team.

The session continued with Hema Chandrika giving an introduction about the IEEE Nanotechnology Council (NTC), which works on the advancement of nanotechnology. We then invited Dr. A. Ganesh to the stage to unveil the Nano Council poster and launch the new NTC team for 2025, followed by a group photo.

Tej Kiran spoke about the IEEE Educational Society, highlighting the support it offers for student learning, events, and development. Dr. R. Suresh was then called on stage to unveil the Edu Soc poster and announce the new team, followed by a group photo.

Next, Afzal introduced the IEEE Communications Society (ComSoc), which focuses on networking and communication technologies. Dr. R. Swathi unveiled the ComSoc poster and launched the new team.

Hema Sai Sree then gave a short introduction on the Signal Processing Society (SPS). Dr. D. Srinivasulu Reddy was invited to launch the SPS poster and introduce the new council members.

Adi Lakshmi took the stage to explain about IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE), which supports and empowers women in STEM. Dr. V. Lakshmi Devi launched the WIE poster and the 2025 team.

M.N. Nandini introduced the IEEE Sensor Council, which focuses on sensor technology and innovation. The Sensor Council poster was launched by Dr. O. Eshwar Reddy, followed by a team photo.

Keerthi Priya gave an overview of the IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES), and Dr. C.H. Shanthayya unveiled the PES poster and team.

Hema Sai Sree returned to give a brief on the Computer Society, and Dr. G. Prem Kumar launched the Computer Society poster and team.

Akshaya Priya gave a final introduction about the IEEE Executive Committee (Execom), which leads and manages all IEEE SB activities. The Execom poster was unveiled by Dr. R. Tharakeshwar, Vice Principal.

The event also featured two major launches:

  • Official IEEE SVCE Website – Unveiled by Dr. N. Sudhakar Reddy, this platform will help members stay updated with events and opportunities.

  • SPECTRUM Magazine – Our very own IEEE SB magazine, launched to showcase technical articles, achievements, and insights from our student community.

Towards the end, certificates were distributed to previous year's IEEE members by the Principal, Vice Principal, Deans, and HODs.

The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Sujitha.
