Biography:

Hector Solar received the M.Sc. degree in telecommunication engineering from the University of Pais Vasco, Bilbao, Spain, in 2002, and the Ph.D. degree in electronic engineering from the University of Navarra, San Sebastián, Spain, in 2007.,He is currently a Researcher and the Project Manager with the Electronics and Communications Division, Centro de Estudio e Investigaciones Técnicas (CEIT), San Sebastián, and an Associate Professor with the Electrical, Electronic, and Control Engineering Department, Technological Campus of the University of Navarra. Through CEIT, he has been an External Consultant of Seiko–Epson, Barcelona, Spain, from 2006 to 2007. He has authored or co-authored two books and over 30 international journals and conference papers. He holds one patent. His research interests include CMOSRF/millimeter-wave integrated circuit design and ultra low power analog circuit design with a special emphasis on batteryless sensor nodes. He also served as a Reviewer for several journals, such as the IEEE MTT and the IEEE TCAS I & II.
