Biography:

Dr. Windhya Rankothge is a postdoctoral research associate at the Canadian Institute for Cyber Security (CIC), University of New Brunswick, Canada. She is leading the research collaboration between ADGA Groups and CIC. Dr. Windhya received her PhD in Information Technology and Communication in the year 2017 from the University of Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona. Her research interests are Cybersecurity Risk Management, Cybersecurity Standards and Frameworks, Cloud Security, and Software Defined Networks. 

Dr. Windhya has published her research work in numerous journals and conferences, and she is an IEEE Senior member. Also, she has served different international research communities as a reviewer, advisor, and executive committee member. Currently, she serves as a voting member for the IEEE MGA Awards and Recognition Committee, a voting member (member-at-large) for the IEEE WIE Global Committee, chair for the IEEE WIE Special Days and WIE Day Subcommittee, and vice-chair for the IEEE New Brunswick section.
