DOUBLESLASH 3.0: IEEE JUSB POWERS IEEE’S VISION IN THEIR FIRST EVER 24 HRS OFFLINE HACKATHON
IEEE Jadavpur University is proud to present Double Slash, the university’s inaugural 24-hour hackathon – a thrilling convergence of innovation, creativity, and technical excellence in collaboration with IEEE Kolkata Section and IEEE Kolkata Section Computer Society, partnered with Department of Information Technology, Jadavpur University. Scheduled to take place in two dynamic phases, the event promises to bring together some of the brightest tech minds from across the country.
The journey begins with a preliminary online quiz round on 9th February 2025, designed to test participants’ knowledge in domains such as Machine Learning, Data Structures & Algorithms, and Web Development. The top-performing teams will qualify for the grand finale—a 24-hour onsite hackathon to be held on 15th-16th February 2025 at the SMCC Building, Salt Lake Campus, Jadavpur University.
35 qualifying teams , i.e. around 100 finalists will compete across six exciting tracks: Web3, Education, Green Tech, Health, Cyber Security, and an open innovation track named Slash. They will be guided by a panel of experienced mentors throughout the hackathon, helping transform bold ideas into working prototypes.
A diverse panel of industry experts will serve as judges, evaluating the projects on parameters like innovation, feasibility, and execution. With a prize pool exceeding ₹10,000, the event will not only foster groundbreaking ideas but also reward exceptional talent.
