ACTEA'2025

Dear Colleagues:

Computational tools are evolving rapidly and applied to a wide variety of engineering fields and disciplines. The benefits of using computer simulations in production and research are indisputable and involve more efficient utilization of resources and its resulting cost saving. ACTEA’2025 aims at bringing together researchers and engineers, and providing a common platform for all experts dealing with computational tools to advance the state of knowledge by sharing research results and pioneering views about recent trends and developments.
ACTEA’2025 is the sixth edition in a series that started in 2009 and is being sponsored by local sections/branches of major societies operating in the country. Engineering Applications of interest include, but are not limited to:

Control & Automation: Control Systems, Mechatronics, Robotics, Computer Aided Manufacturing, Process Control, Engineering Optimization. Electrical & Computer Technologies: Electromagnetics, Microelectronics, Power Electronics, Power System Analysis, FPGA, Semiconductor and Optoelectronic Devices, Communication and Signal processing, Cloud Computing, AI/Machine Learning. Energy & Environment: Energy Technologies, Thermal and Fluid Sciences, Pollution, Traffic and Transportation Engineering, Urban Environment, Oil & Gas, Hydraulics and Hydrology. Engineering Systems: Geotechnical/Geophysical, Structural, Sustainability, Materials, Mechanics, Bioengineering, Mathematical Modeling, Project Management. Engineering Education: Software, Teaching/Learning Tools. IMPORTANT DEADLINES Submission of Manuscripts (4-6 pages): Extended June 14, 2025 Notification of Acceptance: Extended July 15, 2025 Submission of Final Paper: August 31, 2025 Conference Date: Sept. 24-26, 2025 Submission Guidelines: Manuscripts must be submitted in English through the EDAS Conference website: https://edas.info/N33221 Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library. At least one author of each accepted paper must register for the conference and present their work. Location: The conference will be held at Notre Dame University in Zouk Mosbeh (10 km north of Beirut), a lovely place squeezed between the Mediterranean Sea and the cavernous Jeita Grotto, which is one of the most impressive subterranean displays of stalactites and stalagmites on the planet. ACTEA’25 offers the opportunity to explore Lebanon with its legendary hospitality, natural and touristic sites, and delicious food; it is indeed a unique place to visit. The area offers some of the best of Lebanon in hotels, restaurants, shopping centers, theaters, cinemas, art galleries, and sand beaches. Looking Forward to meeting you in Beirut at NDU!
