Mr. Aditya Kameswara Rao Nandula of IIT Kharagpur

Topic:

"Emerging Technologies and Career Opportunities"

Biography:

He received a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Pragati Engineering College, affiliated with JNTU Kakinada, in 2010. He received an M.Tech degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering with a specialization in VLSI Design and Embedded Systems from Karnataka State Open University in 2014. He received an MS by Research degree in Robotics (Humanoid Bipedal Robots) from IIT Kharagpur in 2024.

He has around 4 years of Industrial experience in the Medical electronic device manufacturing industry and 10+ years of research experience.

Currently, he is working as a Senior Project Scientist in the Virtual Labs research project in the Mechanical Engineering Department at IIT Kharagpur and pursuing a PhD in the Department of Electrical Engineering.

He is a Senior Member of IEEE. He has been an active member of IEEE since 2018. At present, he is the New Initiatives Chair of the IEEE Kharagpur Section, Upskill Lead in the Engage team of the IEEE Region 10 Young Professionals Committee 2025, and IEEE Brand Ambassador Expert. He has also been associated with IEEE Kharagpur Section activities since 2020.

For his volunteer contributions to IEEE, he was awarded “IEEE STEM Champion 2023”, IEEE India Council “Outstanding YP Volunteer” Award 2023, IEEE Kharagpur Section “Outstanding Student Volunteer” Award 2023, and IEEE Kharagpur Section “Outstanding Student Volunteer” Award 2022

His research interests include Robotics, Humanoid Bipedal Robots, Reinforcement Learning,  Embedded Systems, Computer Vision, and Pattern Recognition.
