Andrius Markvaldas has over 25 years of experience architecting enterprise-scale data solutions across industries like proprietary trading, and cloud-native platforms. Most of his career has been dedicated to building high-performance data platforms for high-frequency and algorithmic trading, covering real-time market data collection, tick storage, and algorithm development. Currently a Senior Systems Engineer at VAST Data, he has held key roles at companies such as Vertica, Snowflake, and Yugabyte, where he specialized in driving data modernization and AI adoption. Andrius holds advanced degrees in Predictive Analytics and Distributed Systems.
