Workshop on Scientific Writing for Research Grant Proposals in ICMR
The Department of Research and Development at New Horizon College of Engineering successfully organized an online workshop titled "Scientific Writing for Research Grant Proposals in ICMR" on 24th May 2025, from 09:30 AM to 12:00 PM. The progamme is jointly organised by IEEE IES Bangalore Chapter, IEEE IES SBC of NHCE and IEEE CSE SBC of NHCE
The session was expertly handled by Dr. M.S.P. Subathra, Professor, Division of Robotics Engineering, School of Engineering and Technology, Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, Coimbatore.
The workshop aimed to enhance the participants' understanding of effective scientific writing techniques and equip them with essential skills for drafting impactful research grant proposals tailored to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). The session included insights into proposal structure, evaluation criteria, and common pitfalls, offering valuable guidance to aspiring researchers and faculty members.
