Inauguration Ceremony: R&D EXPO 2025
The inauguration ceremony of the R&D Expo organized by IEEE commenced with a sense of excitement and inspiration. The event began with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony, symbolizing the dispelling of darkness and the ushering in of knowledge and innovation. The lamp was graciously lit by our esteemed Dean, Dr. Ashok Kumar Gupta, alongside GATE Smasher Mr. Varun Singla, and the IEEE faculty coordinators, marking an auspicious start to the proceedings. As a gesture of honor and appreciation, Dean Sir felicitated Mr. Varun Singla with a traditional Himachali topi and a memento, celebrating his achievements and contribution to the event.
Following the lamp lighting, Dean Dr. Ashok Kumar Gupta delivered a motivating and congratulatory speech, emphasizing the importance of research, innovation, and perseverance in the journey of engineering students. His words set a powerful tone for the event, inspiring all attendees to pursue excellence. This was followed by a short but impactful speech by Mr. Varun Singla, where he shared valuable insights into the life and mindset of an engineering student, providing the audience with practical advice and motivation.
