IEEE International Women In Engineering Day Celebration
Theme: "Her Blueprint: Building Bold Careers in STEM"
The event will feature two main components:
1. A Career Talk, highlighting the experiences of women in engineering—discussing the
challenges they’ve faced, their victories, and the strategies that have helped them thrive
in male-dominated industries.
2. The Launch of a Mentorship Program, a collaborative initiative with female engineers
from the Electricity Company of Ghana. This program seeks to bridge the gap between
academia and industry by connecting students with professional mentors who will offer
long-term guidance throughout their academic journey.
