MUIT Codethon 2025 commenced with a formal welcome of dignitaries and an introduction of the event, followed by the auspicious Guru Pujan. The Chief Guest, Dr. Dinesh Kumar Mishra, Operation Director, ISRO, was felicitated, setting a respectful and inspiring tone for the day. The gathering was further uplifted by words of blessings and motivation from Dr. Neeraj Jain, Dean Academics, and Dr. Kalyan Acharjya (Dean, MSOET) emphasizing the significance of technology and innovation in the academic journey.

A major highlight of the inaugural session was the Chief Guest’s address where in Mr. Mishra shared insightful perspectives on technological advancements, innovation in space research, and the critical role of coding and analytical skills in shaping the future. He also extended an invitation for students’ visit to the Institute and shared availability of opportunities for internship for dedicated and hardworking students.

The competitive events of the first day commenced soon after the Inaugural Session. The Tech Quiz tested participants' technical knowledge, accuracy, and speed, while the Coding Competition challenged students to apply their programming skills in solving real-world problems.

The second day of activities began with the Bug Hunting Competition, where students displayed sharp analytical thinking and debugging skills. In the afternoon, the Technical Poster Presentation provided a platform for students to showcase their creativity and research through visual representations of emerging tech topics. Judges and guests interacted with the presenters, fostering a rich exchange of ideas.

The Valedictory session of MUIT Codethon 2025 began with a warm welcome of dignitaries and an overview of the day’s agenda, marked by the ceremonial lamp lighting. The university was privileged to host Mr. Rajesh Kumar Gangal, Senior Director (IT), NIC and Mr. K.N. Tiwari, Director (IT), NIC, whose presence and encouragement greatly enriched the event. Dr. Neeraj Jain, Dean Academics, gave the welcome address that energized the participants.

The event culminated with a Prize Distribution Ceremony, recognizing the most outstanding participants. A Group Photo captured the spirit of teamwork and celebration. A heartfelt Vote of Thanks by Mr. Daljeet Pal Singh acknowledged everyone’s contributions, and the day concluded with the National Anthem, leaving behind a sense of pride and achievement.

With more than 300 registrations, the event saw participation from several prestigious institutes, including Institute of Engineering and Technology, Lucknow (IET Lucknow), Bansal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Rameshwaram Institute of Technology and Management, Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Language University, Lal Bahadur Shastri College of Management and Development Studies, Shia P.G. College, RR Group of Institutes, National P.G. College, Shri Ram Murti Smarak International Business School, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, School of Management Sciences (SMS), Lucknow, and Babu Banarasi Das University, Lucknow.

MUIT Codethon 2025 proved to be a dynamic blend of knowledge, competition, and collaboration, successfully igniting passion for coding and innovation among students. The event was successfully coordinated by Dr. Shweta Vikram, Mr. Abhay Bajpai, Mr. Om Prakash Pal, Ms. Preeti Naval, Mr. Suraj Singh, Mr. Daljeet Pal Singh and Mrs. Pooja Shukla.
