We are happy to announce that this year, 7 new students joined our IEEE SPS IIT BHU Varanasi student branch chapter. It increased our strength from 9 members to 16 members, with a record 80% increase in a single year. In view of this, we organized a welcome meeting for the new members, in which all current members of the chapter attended. This meeting started with the welcome speech by our faculty advisor, Dr. Priya Ranjan Muduli. In his speech, he told the students the benefits of IEEE and IEEE SPS memberships and answered the queries raised by the students regarding the student branch chapter. Lastly, a stainless steel water bottle with the IEEE SPS logo was distributed to all the current members as a token of remembrance.
