The IEEE Student Branch at Rajkiya Engineering College Sonbhadra, in collaboration with GDG On Campus REC Sonbhadra and RECS Innovation, Incubation & Entrepreneurship Foundation, proudly presents IDEATHON’25 — the flagship ideation event that empowers young innovators to tackle real-world problems with creativity, technology, and purpose.
IDEATHON’25 is a competitive platform designed to inspire critical thinking, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial innovation among students. It offers individuals a unique opportunity to turn their original ideas into impactful solutions by exploring pressing global and local challenges.
This year’s themes reflect urgent societal and global needs:

Climate Change – Innovate for environmental sustainability and carbon footprint reduction.

Women Safety & Gadgets – Design tech-driven solutions to enhance personal safety and real-time security.

Food Processing & Agriculture – Develop efficient, scalable innovations to support smart farming and reduce food loss.

Student Innovation (Open Theme) – Pitch bold, original ideas beyond the conventional categories.
Participants will present practical, original, and impactful solutions through short, structured presentations. The event is designed to promote creativity, problem-solving, and the entrepreneurial mindset, empowering students to transform visionary ideas into scalable innovations with real-world impact.
🎯 Tracks for Participation
Participants can submit ideas under any of the following domains:

Women Safety & Gadgets
Develop innovative gadgets or applications that enhance safety and offer real-time support for women in critical situations. -
Climate Change
Propose solutions addressing global environmental issues such as sustainability, carbon footprint reduction, or climate-resilient technologies. -
Food Processing & Agriculture
Introduce ideas aimed at improving agricultural productivity, post-harvest processing, or automation in food and farm systems. -
Any Student Innovation
An open innovation track that welcomes any unique and impactful idea from any field of study or interest.
