Sciblitz 1.0, organized by the IEEE CUET Student Branch, is an upcoming national flagship research competition designed to engage undergraduate students across Bangladesh in academic research, innovation, and technical presentation.

The event will feature two core segments:

Three-Minute Thesis (3MT) Track
Poster Presentation Track

Both segments are structured in two competitive phases, offering participants a step-by-step journey from abstract-level ideation to full academic presentation.

Three-Minute Thesis (3MT) Track

Phase 1 – Abstract Submission

Participants will submit a 300-word abstract and a research flowchart. Submissions will be evaluated on clarity, feasibility, and impact. The top 40% of teams from each research field will qualify for the next round.

Phase 2 – Model Paper and Live Presentation

Qualified teams will submit:

A 6-page model research paper
A 15-slide presentation (PPT/PDF)
Deliver a 3-minute live pitch followed by a 2-minute Q&A

This round will be held live on July 18 at the IT Business Incubator, CUET.

Communication, Signal Processing, Networks, Information Systems, and Cybersecurity
Power Systems, Renewable Energy, Sustainability, and Smart Grids
Mechanical Systems, Robotics, Automation, Advanced Manufacturing, and Industrial Production
Electronics, Semiconductor Devices, VLSI, and Embedded Systems
Biomedical Engineering, Biomechanics, Biosensors, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Machine Learning (ML)
Civil Engineering, Smart Infrastructure, Environmental Engineering, and Sustainable Urban Development

3MT Awards:

🥇 1st Place: BDT 40,000
🥈 2nd Place: BDT 25,000
🥉 3rd Place: BDT 15,000
🏅 Best Paper in Each of the 6 Fields: BDT 5,000 × 6 = BDT 30,000

Poster Presentation Track

Phase 1 – Poster Draft Submission

Participants will submit posters (PDF & PPT formats) on open topics including science, environment, innovation, marketing, and social awareness. The top 12 teams will qualify for the final round.

Phase 2 – Final Poster Presentation

Qualified teams will present their printed posters and deliver a 5-minute live presentation during the final event on July 18 at IT Business Incubator, CUET.
