Sciblitz 1.0, the flagship national research competition organized by the IEEE CUET Student Branch, was successfully held on July 25, 2025, at the Central Auditorium of CUET. The event aimed to promote research, innovation, and scientific communication among undergraduate students across Bangladesh. It served as a multidisciplinary platform for showcasing research capabilities and presenting technical ideas to a general audience in a concise and engaging format.

The event featured two core segments: the Three-Minute Thesis (3MT) Track and the Poster Presentation Track, both following structured multi-phase formats to ensure academic rigor and active student involvement.

In the 3MT Track, participants submitted 300-word abstracts with research flowcharts. Selected teams advanced to the final phase, where one representative delivered a three-minute oral presentation using a single static slide. Presentations were timed strictly and designed to be accessible to non-specialist audiences, in alignment with global 3MT standards. Simultaneously, the Poster Presentation Track welcomed entries on diverse themes—ranging from engineering and technology to social innovation and environmental awareness. Finalists showcased their printed posters in a live presentation session.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from universities nationwide, covering fields like power systems, robotics, AI, embedded systems, civil engineering, and sustainable infrastructure. A distinguished panel of judges from academia, industry, and the judiciary evaluated the entries.
