WIE SPEAKER SERIES 2025 -IEEE PHILADELPHIA SECTION
The Future of AI and Financial Integrity: Tools, Trust & Transformation in the Digital Economy
Artificial Intelligence is at the forefront of reshaping the financial world—from detecting fraud and enhancing compliance to driving responsible investment decisions. But alongside innovation lies the critical question: How do we ensure financial integrity in an era of algorithmic decision-making?
In this 45-minute session, we’ll explore the evolving landscape of AI in finance and the ethical frameworks needed to foster transparency, trust, and compliance. You’ll also gain practical guidance on AI tools, industry frameworks, certifications, and learning resources—essential for students, early-career professionals, and practitioners transitioning into fintech and AI roles.
We’ll cover how leading institutions use AI to combat financial crime, the risks of bias and black-box models, and how you can upskill with hands-on platforms, open-source tools, and globally recognized programs.
This session is ideal for technologists, finance professionals, regulators, students, and innovators who want to understand both the future of financial systems and how to prepare for it.
