Seema’s Cyber Quest: Tracing the Digital Footprint- An OSINT Based CTF Event.
Seema’s Cyber Quest is an individual, browser-based Capture the Flag (CTF) challenge designed for anyone with a curiosity for cybersecurity and digital privacy. Hosted on an interactive Typeform platform, the event places participants in the role of an online investigator helping Seema — a student whose digital identity has been compromised.
As you progress through the story, you’ll use real-world open-source intelligence (OSINT) techniques to follow trails across platforms like social media, code repositories, blogs, and more. With each clue, you get closer to the truth — no hacking required, just keen observation and logical thinking.
This event aims to raise cybersecurity awareness through hands-on exploration, highlighting how easily digital footprints can be traced. All participants will receive certificates, with special recognition awarded to the top cyber sleuths based on completion and speed.
