Biography: Micol Colella (Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in information and communication technology from the Sapienza University of Rome, Rome, Italy, in 2017 and 2021, respectively. She is currently holding a Postdoctoral research position with the BioEM Laboratory, Department of Information Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication, Sapienza University of Rome. Since 2017, she has been involved in national and international projects in collaboration with industries and foreign research institutes. She is currently a Project Assistant for the EU-funded Horizon 2020 Project RISEUP. Dr. Colella is a member of the BIOEM society, of the IEEE-MTT society, and a member of the URSI (International Union of Radioscience). She is a Founder member of the Chapter Women In Radioscience (WIRS) Italy. In 2019, she was awarded the Joseph Morissey Memorial Award for best platform presentation at the BioEM Joint Meeting. In 2021 and 2024, she was the recipient of the URSI GASS 2021 and URSI AT-RASC 2024 Young Scientist Awards, respectively. In 2024, she was also the recipient of the Young Scientist Best Paper Award, Roberto Sorrentino.
