Tales from Industrial Control System Cybersecurity
IEEE Alaska Section - Monthly Meeting: June 18, 2025, 11:30-13:00, ADT
Believe it or not, we are having a section meeting this month on June 18th, and the topic is on cyber security. I think we all know that cybersecurity is important, but there are often pitfalls that get overlooked in the details of execution and development. This section meeting will be featuring a veteran of cyber security who brings over two decades of experience in working out various bugs associated with security vulnerabilities, and he has some "horror stories" to share concerning things that can happen when cybersecurity issues get overlooked or ignored in industrial applications.
This meeting is from 1130-1300 (the typical time), and it is virtual only, so if you are able to join, you may be glad you did.
