Wameed is a multi-phase cinematic competition that invites young talents (students or non-students) to create impactful short films (7–10 minutes) reflecting the unique identity, culture, challenges, and dreams of their country. It promotes cultural dialogue, artistic expression, and cross-border collaboration through filmmaking. 

Participating Countries (2025 Edition):

 • Tunisia – IEEE ISSATM Student Branch

• Jordan – IEEE Hashemite University Student Branch

• Egypt – Egypt University of Informatics Student Branch (Other countries may join as the event progresses.)

  Themes (Optional):

Teams may be inspired to address topics such as:

• Cultural heritage and identity

 • Youth perspectives on change

• Women and empowerment in society

• Hope and resilience in times of conflict

 • Science, innovation, and social impact
