Nvidia Jetson Edge AI Workshop
The Jetson Edge AI Workshop, held on June 13, 2025, was a one-day intensive, hands-on event designed to provide students and faculty with practical exposure to Edge AI using NVIDIA’s cutting-edge Jetson platform. The workshop was hosted by the IEEE RAS Student Chapter in collaboration with the Department of ECE, KLS GIT, and led by Mr. Kabilan KB — a certified NVIDIA Jetson AI Instructor, Jetson Champion, and University Ambassador.
A total of 60 participants from electronics and communication, computer science (AIML), and faculty teams engaged in session focuced on developing deploying AI model edge using jetson orin nano development boards, the participants explode real time implementations involving Large Language Models (LLMSs) and vision language models (VLMs), successfully building AI agents capable of interpreting web cam inputs, answering questions, recognizing objects, and generating voice based response.

Mr. Kabilan
Nvidia Jetson Edge AI Workshop
Mr. Kabilan is an official NVIDIA Jetson AI Instructor, Jetson Champion, and University Ambassador. He is currently an active contributor to the Jetson AI Lab Global Research Community, where he focuses on advancing robotics through integration of NVIDIA Isaac Sim with Jetson platforms. He is also working as a Robotics Embedded Engineer at Tanna TechBiz LLP.
He holds a Bachelor's degree in Robotics and Automation and is a proud student member of the Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE). Beyond his technical and academic accomplishments, Mr. Kabilan is a passionate educator and content creator on YouTube, where he produces tutorials on ROS, Isaac ROS, and Jetson platforms, making complex topics accessible for students and professionals alike.
