Biography: Dr. Arnab Das has been a Senior Professional Staff member at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (JHU/APL) since 2009. His research focuses on the performance analysis of communication systems, mathematical modeling of communication networks using game theory and graph theory, constrained optimization in communication systems, and applications of machine learning to communications and networking. Since Fall 2019, he has also served as a faculty member in the Johns Hopkins University Engineering for Professionals (JHU EP), where he teaches Communication Systems Engineering in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Dr. Das holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University.
