IEEE Delaware Section Meet & Greet
Have you ever wanted to get more involved in your local community or professional network, but didn’t know where to start?
Whether you're a seasoned professional, early in your career, or simply passionate about making a difference, we invite you to a casual in-person meet and greet where you can connect with others who care about innovation, education, and service.
This event is a great opportunity to:
-
Meet local leaders who are working on exciting programs in STEM outreach, professional development, and community engagement
-
Learn how you can participate—whether you’re interested in taking on a leadership role, helping behind the scenes, or supporting events and initiatives as a micro-volunteer
-
Ask questions in an informal setting—no prior experience required, just your interest and energy
We’re looking to grow our network of enthusiastic, community-minded individuals who want to lend their time, creativity, and talents—on their own schedule and in a way that suits their strengths. Your involvement could be as simple as helping out at an event, mentoring a student, or offering ideas for programs that inspire others.
Lunch, refreshments, and snacks will be provided, so come hungry for food and inspiration! Bring a friend or colleague who may also be curious about getting more involved—we welcome all backgrounds and levels of experience.
With the upcoming Section elections, we will have individuals on hand to answer questions about the roles and responsibilities. Here are the basic outlines of the Section officer positions open for nomination.
