The goal of this competition day is to spark curiosity in STEM careers and drone technologies, learn drone safety, and practice flight inspection techniques!
High School Competition: Teams of 4-8 students will be tasked with preparing a presentation and navigating an obstacle course. On competition day, they will present to the judges and pilot their drone in FPV-mode, identifying targets along the way.
College Competition: Teams of 2-4 students will be tasked to program a UAV to autonomously navigate an obstacle course, identifying targets along the way.
Halloween Costume Contest: Participants are encouraged to dress up in their best look-a-like, funniest, spookiest, or group costume. This contest is open to all attendees of the Competition Day- including the team advisors, spectators, and volunteers!
