Biography:
Prof Pallavi is very passionate about sustainability and she strives towards engineering optimised solutions for global energy needs. Her research interests broadly include: design, modelling and optimization of renewable power conversion systems, multi-energy carriers and storage systems with a vision towards a smart and low-carbon energy ecosystem. At IIT Gandhinagar, she is setting up a Smart power electronics lab with 4 major pillars namely:
- Photovoltaic power conversion: faults & shade-tolerant control for high reliability PV
- Transportation electrification: fast EV chargers, battery lifetime extension
- Green energy storage: data-driven modelling & system integration of hydrogen
- Net zero transition: multi-energy optimization for a clean energy nexus
