The Westinghouse Waltz Mill site is historical as well as a thriving center for nuclear power plant services in nearly half of all operating plants worldwide!
Tour of the Westinghouse Waltz Mill Facility is near Madison PA, about 5 minutes west off route 70 (right) from New Stanton.
We plan to meet at the guard station at 9 am at the Westinghouse Waltz Mill cafeteria, run by Parkhurst.
The tour will encompass the Westinghouse high bay training and shop areas, showing full scale refueling station, walking under an actual nuclear reactor vessel head, steam generator mock up, and various motors including a reactor coolant pump.
