Biography:
Dr. Souad Abou Zeid, a postdoctoral researcher at GREMAN-CNRS, Blois, France, is a rising star in the field of science. Born on January 1, 1996, in Lebanon, she obtained her Bachelor's degree in general chemistry and a Master’s 1 degree in Physical Chemistry of Materials and Catalysis from Lebanese University's Faculty of Sciences-section I, Lebanon. Continuing her academic journey, she completed a Master’s 2 degree in Inorganic Chemistry at Paris-Saclay University in France, followed by the successful defense of her Ph.D. in Chemistry in March 2023, focusing on "Reduced graphene oxide and its composites: Radiolytic preparation and applications."
During her doctoral studies, she spent three months as a Visiting Researcher Scholar at the Indian Institute of Technology Mandi, India, contributing to the SPARC Project. Dr. Abou Zeid is actively involved in conferences, projects, seminars, as well as social and humanitarian activities, demonstrating her expertise in scientific fields and her commitment to community engagement. In April 2023, she embarked on a postdoctoral position concentrating on the Synthesis of Zinc Oxide Nanowires to investigate their photocatalytic and antibacterial properties.
With unbounded ambition propelling her trajectory, Dr. Abou Zeid is poised to emerge as a distinguished researcher in her field, poised to shape the future of materials chemistry with her groundbreaking contributions and unwavering commitment to scientific excellence.
