Second Day National Level One Week (6 Days) Faculty Development Program On “Research Challenges & Opportunities in Electrical Engineering”
A one-week (6-days) National level online Faculty Development Program on “Research Challenges & Opportunities in Electrical Engineering” was organized by the Department of Electrical Engineering, JSPM’s Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering, Tathawade, Pune, in association with the IEEE PES-IAS Chapter, Pune Section, during 26th May to 31st May 2025. The program witnessed active participation from 160 attendees across various states like Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh and institutions, comprising 152 academicians, 2 industry professionals, and 6 research scholars. A total of 12 expert sessions were conducted -two sessions per day, delivered by distinguished speakers from both industry and academia.
On Day 2, 27th May 2025, Session 1 was conducted from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM by Mr. Anand Vijaykumar, Head Mechatronics & EV System TATA Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd., on the topic " Advanced Automotive Electronics: A Catalyst for innovation in Electrical Engineering Research."
Session 2 was conducted from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM by Dr. Surekha Deshmukh Domain Consultant, IOTDE, TCS, on the topic " Digital capabilities enhancing Smart Grid."
