The term "Software Defined Radio" was coined or 30 years ago, and over the past 30+ years a large number of SDRs have been developed. This talk on Innovations in Software Defined Radio will address: (1) key innovations enabling the success of tomorrow's SDRs, (2) how these innovations will impact the EW Industry, and (3) lessons learned from past and current SDR efforts.

Biography:

David Cooper is currently Tech Director at BAE System and has been a cofounder of 2 start-ups. He has a Ph.D. and a M.S.E.E from University of Pennsylvania and a BS from Boston University. Focus areas include Spread Spectrum Communications, AJ/LPI, communication Antennas, Cosite Mitigation and IoT.
