SHE SECURED WIE Day 2025 Opening Ceremony

To launch the WIE Day 2025 celebration, IEEE WIE ENETCOM, in collaboration with WIE ISIMM, WIE SESAME, WIE IIT, WIE ENICAR, WIE ISTIC, WIE ENIG, and WIE ENSIT, hosted a virtual opening ceremony. The event featured two distinguished speakers: Mrs. Baya Bouchaala, Chair of IEEE WIE Tunisia Section, and Mrs. Windhya Rankothge, IEEE WIE Day Chair. The session was moderated by Chayma Labiadh, Vice-Chair of WIE ISTIC SBAG. 

 

During this insightful session, both speakers shared their inspirational career journeys in the fields of engineering and cybersecurity, reflecting on their personal experiences, the challenges they’ve overcome, and the successes they’ve achieved. They also emphasized their ongoing commitment to IEEE Women in Engineering and the importance of leadership, mentorship, and community support for women in STEM.

 

The event served as a powerful kickoff to the WIE Day program, setting the tone for a week of collaboration, motivation, and empowerment. It successfully brought together members from multiple branches, inspired young engineers, and strengthened the sense of unity and purpose within the IEEE WIE community across Tunisia.
