Seminar on “Life on Land – SDG 15” under United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Awareness Series
As part of the UN-SDGs Awareness Event Series, IEEE-STB MMMUT, in collaboration with the Humanities and Social Science Department and NDLI Club MMMUT, organized a seminar on “Life on Land – SDG 15”.
Prof. Rajesh Kumar Yadav discussed the critical aspects of conserving and sustainably using terrestrial ecosystems, forests, and biodiversity for sustainable development. Prof. Chandra Prakash Rai emphasized addressing deforestation, land degradation, and biodiversity loss while promoting sustainable land management to maintain ecological balance.
The event highlighted how protecting life on land is essential for achieving broader sustainability goals, inspiring students to understand their role in preserving ecosystems through their engineering and professional practices.
