Summer Potluck Picnic

 

IEEE Southeastern Michigan Vehicle Tech Society Chapter Potluck Summer Picnic

The IEEE SEM Vehicle Tech Society chapter invites all IEEE members & their families, to join us for a Summer Potluck Picnic. (In other words, we engineers also know how to play and are not "all work all the time"!!). There is no charge for the gathering but, please register so we know who and how many to expect. The event is open to all IEEE Southeastern Michigan members - their families and friends, please email the sponsors with what dish/entree you will be bringing to share, approximately what time and how many members are expected to join in the fun (RSVP by AUGUST 20). We will help provide the napkins, plastic ware, paper plates, water, table covers, etc. Feel free to also let the organizers know if you are bringing a board game, music, or group activity item, etc. As engineers we too know how to spend a relaxing day with family together! We look forward to seeing you on that DAY!

About the Park

The City of Troy park system offers a wide variety of recreational opportunities. At the Firefighters Park, the recreation opportunities include: A mix of open space and wooded areas with a section of the Rouge River running through the north end and along its east border. Amenities include nine soccer fields, a barrier-free play structure, ball diamond, eighteen-hole disc golf course, sand volleyball courts, picnic shelter, shore fishing, restrooms and concession stand operated during scheduled soccer games.
