Life Member Visit to CSIRO Robotics Centre
This event is a conducted tour of the CSIRO Robotics Centre at the Queensland Centre for Advanced Technologies (QCAT) at Pullenvale, Brisbane.
The conducted tour will take around two hours and will take into account the likely interests of technically literate adults who may not necessarily be experts in this specialist branch of engineering and science. The work of the centre is directed toward foundational and applied research for agriculture, advanced manufacturing, mining, environmental research and monitoring. The centre also has testing spaces for various kinds of robots.

We will meet our tour guide at the Reception Centre, who will take us to see the various facilities.
Following the conclusion of the tour, participants have the option of sharing a meal at one of the two restaurants opposite the CSIRO site.
It is suggested that participants aim to arrive a few minutes prior to the scheduled 10 am starting time. There is plenty of visitor parking close to the marked Reception area. We will be met there by our tour guide.
