Agenda and Discussion Points: 

1. Opening of the Meeting: 
   o The meeting commenced with the recitation of Tilawat-e-Quran-e-Pak. 
   o Dr. Uzma Jamil and the past committee welcomed the new executive committee 
   and extended their best wishes for the tenure. 
   o Dr. Aashir Waleed thanked Dr. Uzma and appreciated her efforts in making the 
   subsection progressive.
2. Handover of Charge: 
   o Dr. Uzma Jamil officially handed over the charge to Dr. Aashir Waleed and the 
   new committee. 
   o Mr. Zubair Gill will transfer the available funds (Rs. 45,719) to Mr. Aal 
   Muhammad Husnain (new Treasurer) via bank transfer and share the transaction 
   screenshot via email.
3.  Plan to Upgrade Subsection to Section: 
   o Ms. Asma Sajid presented a plan to upgrade the subsection to a full section. 
   o The committee decided to set a deadline of 15 February 2025 for membership 
   renewals and 25 February 2025 for filing the petition to IEEE for section status. 
   o Mr. Aftab ur Rehman and Mr. Husnain will contact members to ensure timely 
   renewal of memberships.
4. Extended Executive Committee for 2025-26: 
   o Mr. Aftab ur Rehman presented a plan for the extended executive committee for 
   2025-26. 
   o The following seats were approved for the extended ExCom: 
   ▪ Chairperson SAC (Student Activities Committee) 
   ▪ Chairperson/Coordinator WIE (Women in Engineering) 
   ▪ Chairperson/Coordinator YP (Young Professionals) 
   ▪ Chairperson/Coordinator SIGHT 
   ▪ Chairperson EAC (Educational Activities Committee) 
   ▪ Chairperson PAC (Professional Activities Committee) 
   ▪ Chairperson IAC (Industry Academia Committee) 
   ▪ Chairperson MD (Membership Drive Committee) 
   ▪ Chairperson Conference Committee 
   ▪ Chairperson Award Committee 
   ▪ Chairperson Event Management Committee 
   ▪ Chairperson/Coordinator Vtools and Documentation 
   ▪ Webmaster 
   ▪ SSR (Subsection Student Representative) 
   ▪ Chairperson Newsletter and Media Committee 
   o The seats will be announced on 29 January 2025, and suitable candidates will be 
   selected by the IEEE Faisalabad Subsection.
5. Bank Account Update: 
   o Mr. Husnain will work on updating and managing the IEEE Faisalabad 
   Subsection bank account.
6. Planned Events for 2025: 
   o The subsection will organise the following events in 2025 with the expected 
   dates: 
   ▪ IEEE WIE ILS (April) 
   ▪ IEEE Pakistan Computer Society Congress (November) 
   ▪ IEEE Faisalabad Congress (September) 
   ▪ IEEE YPLC (August) 
   ▪ IEEE Bootcamp (June-July)
7. Closing of the Meeting: 
   o The meeting concluded with Dr. Aashir Waleed thanking all members, especially 
   the past ExCom, for their contributions and support.
