IEEE PES Fort Worth Monthly Meeting - July 22, 2025
For our July meeting, we are happy to welcome Charlie Adkins from Schneider Electric to come speak on harmonics. We'll be following up with some more detail on the presentation in the coming days. Please come prepared with any questions you may have!
Speaker Bio:
Charlie Adkins, P.E., received a B.E. degree in electrical engineering from Vanderbilt University in 1988. His career has spanned control and machine design and power electronics design. He has extensive field experience and theoretical expertise in power systems, variable-frequency drives, and power quality. He is currently working for Schneider Electric as the National Drives Application Engineer.
For this month's meeting, we will be meeting after hours at 5:30 PM. Same location, but not during the lunch hours. As with all of our meetings, we will be providing a meal. If you do not pay online beforehand, we will not be purchasing food for you. Please reach out if there are any issues with payment and we will try to figure it out prior to the meeting. In my experience, Paypal is the easiest and has had the least issues in the past.
