Academic Writing in the Era of AI: Challenges, Tools, and Best Practices – Online FDP
INTRODUCTION
Integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) in academia is reshaping how we approach research, writing, and publishing. Tools like ChatGPT, Grammarly, and other AI-powered assistants are transforming academic writing by offering grammar correction, content suggestions, summarisation, paraphrasing, and even literature review support. While AI augments productivity, it also raises questions about originality, ethics, and authenticity in scholarly work.
This Faculty Development Programme (FDP) aims to equip faculty members and researchers with the necessary knowledge and skills to use AI tools responsibly and effectively in academic writing.
