Broadcom Inc. is a global technology leader that designs, develops, and supplies a wide range of semiconductor and infrastructure software solutions. With a strong history of innovation, Broadcom serves a diverse customer base across various industries, including data centers, networking, broadband, wireless, storage, and industrial markets.

Broadcom's Fort Collins, Colorado site has a rich history, beginning as a Hewlett-Packard facility before becoming part of Agilent Technologies and then Avago Technologies, which acquired Broadcom Corporation in 2016. Today, it serves as a crucial center for semiconductor research and development. It plays a significant role in Broadcom's advancements in wireless, analog, and mixed-signal technology, strengthening the company's position as a leader in next-generation connectivity solutions. The Fort Collins site is strategically important as a hub for both the ASIC Product Division (APD) and the Wireless Semiconductor Division (WSD), showcasing the company's strengths in analog, mixed-signal, and wireless semiconductor innovation.

The ASIC Product Division plays a vital role in powering the AI revolution by designing custom, high-performance integrated circuits tailored to the demanding needs of artificial intelligence and machine learning applications. APD collaborates with leading technology companies to develop application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs) that accelerate complex AI workloads, including deep learning, data analytics, and inference engines. Broadcom's Wireless Semiconductor Division leads the industry in developing Film Bulk Acoustic Resonator (FBAR) filters, which are essential for the high-performance wireless connectivity found in modern cell phones. WSD's advanced FBAR technology enables precise radio frequency filtering, minimizing interference and allowing mobile devices to operate smoothly across multiple bands and wireless standards. Through their work, these divisions enable Broadcom to stay at the forefront of technology, providing solutions that power today's most critical electronic systems and networks
