🌟 Meet the Candidates 🌟
Hosted by IEEE Region 5 – Powering Global Innovation from the U.S. Southwest

IEEE has thrived for 141 years because of you, its members—and the unique, member-driven governance structure that sets it apart from any other technical organization. Every Director on the IEEE Board plays a crucial role in shaping the direction of our global organization, and Region 5 is proud to be at the heart of that mission.

🌍 Why This Matters
As one of only 10 Regional Directors worldwide who serve on the IEEE Board of Directors, the Region 5 Director influences IEEE policy, strategy, and initiatives that impact over 500,000+ members globally. Region 5—covering the U.S. Southwest—is known not only for vibrant technical communities and inventive local programs, but also for its leadership in driving the future direction of IEEE itself.

Recent years have seen Region 5 emerge as a strategic hub, regularly contributing to the core goals and priorities of IEEE at large—supporting interdisciplinary growth, enhancing the member experience, and advancing technology for humanity.
