Event title: Getting UV FIME YP together
· In our student branch when students graduate, they regularly do not renew their IEEE membership. Only a few graduate students continue being IEEE members.
· In this event, we will invite students that are about to graduate and professionals that have graduated recently and will talk to them about the benefits of being YP within our student branch. As a result, we aim to create a formal YP Affinity Group.
· The event will consist of a networking gathering of these students, together with officers of the student branch, in which we’ll have presentations of some of the successful graduates and from our counsellor. Those who cannot take part in person will be welcome to join online, making this a hybrid event.
· To enhance the networking atmosphere, the event will include dinner. For that, the venue will be a private room in one of the local restaurants which provide that type of service.
· Audio and video services will also be hired for the presentations and the online participation of some of the attendees.
