TechX Nyeri 2025
TechX Nyeri is a signature initiative of IEEE Computer Society DeKUT in collaboration with IEEE DeKUT SB, aimed at fostering innovation, technical capacity, and collaborative problem-solving among students, researchers, and industry experts. The platform serves as a catalyst for the growth of technology-driven solutions in Kenya and the broader African region.
As a flagship event under this initiative, TechX Nyeri will bring together over 500 students and professionals from July 2nd–4th, 2025, for a high-impact, hands-on experience. The program will focus on wearable technologies, the Internet of Things (IoT), and sustainable industrial electronics, offering immersive learning and mentorship in these emerging fields.
OBJECTIVES
- Equip students and young professionals with practical skills in emerging technologies.
