The IEEE Italy Section Biometrics Council Chapter has launched a call for PhD Award 2025, in recognition of the best PhD Thesis discussed at an Italian University in the field of Biometric Recognition.

For the 2025 award, the Committee has considered PhD Theses defended in the period from January 2023 to the deadline of the call, set at September, 14, 2025.

The award will consist of a diploma and a monetary prize of € 500 for the author of the best Thesis.

Six candidates applied for the award. The winner will be announced during this event.
