The IEEE Young Professional Bangladesh Talk Series 2025 hosted a successful session titled "Scientific Storytelling: Crafting Meaningful Publications from Practical Projects." The session aimed to guide early-career researchers and professionals on transforming practical project experiences into impactful academic publications through effective scientific communication.

The session was graced by esteemed speaker Dr. S. Bhaskar, Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Karpagam Academy of Higher Education, who delivered an insightful talk on scientific storytelling and research publication. The event was chaired by Dr. Mehdi Hassan Chowdhury, Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at CUET and Advisor of the IEEE EMBS CUET Chapter, whose leadership added immense value to the session. Aditta Chowdhury, Assistant Professor in the same department at CUET and Advisor of the IEEE RAS CUET Chapter, skillfully moderated the session, ensuring smooth coordination and active engagement throughout.

Biography:


Dr. S. Baskar
is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Karpagam Academy of Higher Education, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. He holds a Ph.D. from Anna University, Chennai, and has over a decade of experience in academia and applied research. Dr. Baskar is a recipient of the Young Scientist Award from the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, and has been recognized among the Top 2% Most Influential Scientists by Stanford University. His research focuses on VLSI Design, System on Chip (SoC), IoT-enabled healthcare systems, AI-integrated smart technologies, and Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC). He has published extensively in reputed journals and holds more than 50 patents, actively contributing to research, consultancy, and mentorship at both national and international levels.
