Worshop from FET to New Techologies
Celebrating the 100 years of FET with EDS Panama
IEEE EDS Panama refers to the Electron Devices Society (EDS) Chapter of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) in Panama. It is a branch within the IEEE organization dedicated to promoting excellence in the field of electronic devices and aims to connect professionals and students with an interest in this area. As a chapter in Panama, we work collaboratively with other chapters to strengthen the exchange between student branches and professional chapters. Among the chapters we actively collaborate with are the Computer Society and CAS Panama, with the goal of sharing knowledge and experiences among both professional members and students.
Goals
-
Establish a networking space to disseminate and celebrate the 100th anniversary of FET.
-
Showcase the rapid evolution from the early development of transistors to emerging technologies.
-
Promote the IEEE Electron Devices Society (EDS) among student members and non-members of IEEE through the exchange of experiences in the field of electronic devices and their associated technologies.
