On July 17, 2025, as part of the commemoration of the anniversary of the IEEE UTN Student Branch, an event of great historical value will be held: the burial of the IEEE UTN Time Capsule. This activity is part of the commemorative project that seeks to preserve the memory, achievements, ideas and aspirations of members and volunteers who have been part of the Branch.  During the previous days, a collection of representative objects, messages, photographs, letters, badges and any other symbolic material that participants wish to contribute as a testimony of their time in the organization will be carried out. All this content will be carefully stored and sealed in a capsule that will be buried on the day of the event.  The capsule will be deposited in a designated space near the current location of the IEEE Branch at the Universidad Técnica del Norte. This act not only represents a tribute to the past and present of the Student Branch, but also an invitation to the future: when it is inaugurated, on a date to be defined, new generations will be able to rediscover the spirit, dreams and commitment of those who left a mark on this community.
