A Tribute to Life-Savers – Blood Donation Certificates and Medical Reports Distribution Ceremony
IEEE EMBS UCET IUB (Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society – Faculty of Engineering and Technology, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur) organized a heartfelt ceremony titled “A Tribute to Life-Savers” to recognize the life-saving contributions of the university’s blood donors under the mentorship of the IEEE EMBS UCET Advisor, Dr. Khan Bahadar Khan. The event was held on 26th December 2024 in Room 1.05 of the Old Engineering Building at IUB.
This special occasion honored individuals who donated blood during a recent blood donation drive organized by the student branch. The event focused on the distribution of donor certificates, medical check-up reports, and a formal acknowledgment ceremony to appreciate their contribution to the community’s well-being.
Participation & Blood Group Statistics:
A total of 50 blood donors participated in the drive. Their contributions were categorized as follows:

O+: 14 donors
These generous donors were presented with certificates of appreciation and their medical reports, reflecting their vital role in saving lives and promoting public health awareness.
