SFF 3.0 – Idea Pitch: A platform to present your open-source ideas that can make an impact.


SFF 3.0 – Idea Pitch is a student-focused competition under the Software Freedom Festival 3.0, organized by the IEEE RAS Student Branch Chapter and co-organized by the IEEE Student Branch of Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education. The event provides a platform for students to pitch innovative, open-source-based ideas that address real-world challenges. Participants will present to a panel of evaluators, with judgment based on originality, feasibility, and societal impact. The competition promotes creative thinking, collaboration, and technical communication.

Mr. J. Gautam is the Head of Operations at V7 Launchers, a Madurai-based startup incubator and innovation enabler. With extensive experience in startup logistics, team building, and execution planning, he supports early-stage ventures in turning concepts into reality. He works closely with student innovators and young professionals to help them align academic projects with real-world demands. His focus lies in bridging the gap between technical knowledge and business implementation through strategic execution.
